1. Cook leaves & aerial parts in closed pot + aerial parts of Dittrichia viscosa + "feijan" (Ruta bracteosa) + branches of Laurus nobilis + Pistacia lentiscus + cypress (Cupressus sp.); place affected limb in steam for a few minutes, after which it is easily broken with light tap (& then reset).
2. Cook aerial parts + aerial parts of Thymbra?capitata + leaves& young branches of "kharub" (Ceratonia siliqua) + branches of "el-ghar" (Laurus nobilis) + branches of olive (Olea) + branches of "saris" (Pistacia lentiscus); hold broken limb over steam for few minutes; after removing bone can be re-broken with a light tap.

Cautions

Salvia genus contains some species which can be toxic due to thujone & camphor in the essential oil, if used in excess or taken for extended periods. Can interfere with drugs for epilepsy, hypoglcaemia & sedatives. Symptoms include restlessness, vomiting, vertigo, tremors, seizures, hot flushes, dizziness, tachycardia. Contraindicated in pregnancy & epilepsy.
