Cautions
The volatile oil of some species of Juniperus genus is abortifacient, irritant & carcinogenic. Contraindicated in preganacy & nephrosis. Prolonged use (>4-6 weeks) can cause renal damage & hypocalcaemia. Externally essential oil can cause burning, oedema, erythema & blisters.
