Notes

Cautions

Daucus genus has species whose seeds may contain furanocoumarins which are phototoxic causing dermatosis. Large doses may interfere with blood pressure cardiac & hormone medications. Estrogenic activity & potentially toxic, irritant volatile oil. Above ground aerial parts may cause uterine contraction & miscarriage. Unsuitable in preganacy & lacatation.
