Cautions

Crataegus azarolus can interfer & potentiate the effect of cardiac, hyper and hypo- tensive medicines. Uterine activity suggest that it is unsuitable in preganacy & lactation. Side effects include fatigue, nausea ,rash, sweating. Contains tyramine therefore should be avoided with MAOI (Monoamine oxidase inhibitors) . High does can cause arrythmias, hypotension & sedation. Roots leaves & flowers all contain cardioactive compounds.
