Dittrichia genus has species which may contain sesquiterpene lactones & cause contact allergic skin conditions. Oral use may cause diarrhea, vomiting, spasm & symptoms of paralysis. Can interfere with drugs for diabetes & hypertension. Contraindiacted in pregancy & nursing mothers.
